Pure model A purely tactical role during the implementation of the outsourcing contract.
Strategy model Addition of one or more strategic responsibilities. The transition organization falls under the control of the management organization, but it is not part of it.

The transaction model Transition and change are the responsibility of the management organization. The transition organization is part of the governance organization.
The operational model Management organization is part of the service chain. The organization keeps control at the operational level of supervision or conduct operational tasks themselves.
The liaison model Management organization performs at a tactical level as a bridge between supply and demand, by performing one or multiple tasks for the client organization.
The outsourced model Management organization itself is the subject of outsourcing.
